John Afred GeorgeCARKETTIt is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved John Carkett, aged 86, who departed this life peacefully on 27th October 2025.

Beloved husband to Angela, loving father to Grant, cherished father-in-law to Nicola and devoted grandfather to Rachael. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The funeral service will take place at The Park Crematorium (Ceremony Room 2), Merafield Road, Plympton, PL7 1UQ on Wednesday 26th November 2025 at 3.30 pm. Afterwards, all are welcome to join us for a celebration of John's life at the Cafe in the Park function room.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in John's memory may be made to St Luke's Hospice, either by retiring collection or online at www.stlukes-hospice.org.uk/donations-2/
